Luca Moscariello after having graduated from high school with a major in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, he starts an intense period filled with participations to personal and collective exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. In 2006 he exhibits at Casa della Cultura, Museum of Casa Frabboni of San Pietro in Casale (BO) in occasion of the exhibition called Interazioni (Interactions), where he then exhibits again in 2009 for the exhibition Passaggi d’arte (Art Passages). In 2007 he gets commissioned a big public work painted on foil called Fratellanza, lo sport e la vita (Brotherhood, sport and life) for the San Giorgio in Piano town (BO). In the same year he is one of the winners of the contest Concorso Cortometraggi CortiCircuiti of Calederara di Reno (BO) with the short film Schemiosi. In 2008 the MUSE. Tridentine Museum of Natural Sciences of Trento open his spaces for the artist’s personal exhibition titled Memoria e materia (Memory and matter). In 2009 the artist is one of the finalists of the XII Morlotti Award that has taken place at the Society for the Fine Arts and Permanent Exhibition of Milan and at the Villa Subaglio, Merate (LC) and is one of the winners of the award La fenice et des artistes (The phoenix and the artists), that has taken place at the Novo Hotel Impero in Trieste. In 2011 he has partaken collective exhibitions in important public spaces such as the Spazio Tehtis, Arsenale Novissimo of Venice, where his works were in the exhibition Le cose hanno il potere che tu gli dai (The things have the power that you give to them). In the same year the Ca’ la Ghironda ModernArtMuseum of Zola Pedrosa (BO) dedicates him the personal exhibition La grammatica della polvere (The grammar of dust) and he exhibits in Rovigo with the exhibition Anacronismo (Anachronism). In 2012 he is invited to take part, under suggestion of Valerio Dehò, at the Zingarelli Rocca delle Macìe Award, 2nd Edition – Il Giardino dei Getsemani – at the location of Rocca delle Macìe of Castellina in Chianti, Siena, curated by Simona Gavioli. In 2013  he shows his works at the Bonioni Art Gallery in Reggio Emilia in occasion of the exhibition Sotto I Card, curated by Ivan Quaroni. In the same year Moscariello exhibits in the location Spazio San Giorgio in Bologna in occasion of the collective exhibition Acqua Riflettendo (Reflecting Water), curated by Simona Gavioli, an exhibition that is part of the project H2ON and is included in the group of events Art City White Night, promoted by Artefiera Bologna. From 2013 the artist joins the group The Italian Wave to exhibit in Turkey, Greece, Romania and Lithuania, taking part at important international art expositions such as Art Athina (in May of 2014) and Art Vilnius (in June of the same year), and in occasion of this event his artwork has been pointed out by the international magazine Kathimerini. In June-July of 2014, Luca Moscariello takes part to the second edition of the international contemporary art contest Mantegna Cercasi, promoted by the Camera di Commercio and the Confcommercio of Mantova, characterized by the theme Vital Energy: towards Expo 2015. The finalist artworks have been exhibited at the Rotonda di San Lorenzo, in a exhibition itinerary that culminated in the showrooms of the Mantegna House. In October-Novemeber of the same year the artist is a runner up at the Lissone Award 2014, international award aimed at young artists under the age of 35, and his works are shown at the MAC. Museum of Contemporary Art of Lissone (MB). In  January 2015 the exposition dedicated to contemporary art SetUp Art Fair of Bologna will host a space dedicated entirely to his artworks. In January-February of the same year the artist is invited to exhibit at the “Il Correggio” Museum in Correggio (RE) in occasion of the exhibition La selva oscura, organised to celebrate the Holocaust Remembrance Day 2015 and of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Concentration Camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau by the Red Army. In July-August 2017 he takes part at the group exhibition Se telefonando… at Mantegna’s House in Mantova.

He currently lives and works in Sala Bolognese (BO).
